External Account Transfers
External account transfers will allow you to transfer your money from another financial institution to your Connects FCU account or from your Connects FCU account to your account at another financial institution.
To ENROLL in External Account Transfers, you must be enrolled in My Connection – Online Branch.
- Simply select the Transfers tab, and select the External Account Transfers link on the right.
- The Introduction page that provides the details of the service will display.
- You will see instructions to Validate your email address. You must complete this step to continue.
There is no charge from Connects for External Account to Account transfers.
Setting up accounts can be instant or take several days with trial deposits. The actual transfers can take several BUSINESS days. If you need a faster time frame for transfers, call us about wire transfers or service center transactions between member credit unions.
Person to Person payments allow you to send money to anyone with a financial institution account and an email address or text message capable mobile phone. Popmoney is an easy, fast and secure online personal payment service that lets you send, request and receive money directly from your bank account.
PopMoney is also included within our Pay Connection – Bill Pay service which is included with My Connection – Online Branch.
There is a $0.75 fee for each standard transfer, $1.50 for next day and transfer limits of $500.00 for next day and $10,000 for standard delivery apply. Detailed information can be found in the Pay People section of Online Banking or the PopMoney section of Pay Connection – Bill Pay.
