Alert: Malicious DocuSign Emails are Circulating

On May 9, 2017, DocuSign, the third-party provider of electronic signature technology, announced that they had begun tracking a malicious software (malware) email campaign targeting DocuSign users.

Connects FCU uses DocuSign to conveniently and efficiently send certain documents to members. Though it’s being reported that the malicious email are targeting DocuSign users, those with actual accounts with DocuSign, we feel that providing information is beneficial and we advise member to be on alert. You would never receive a DocuSign email from Connects unless you were aware in advance to expect it. You most likely would not receive any legitimate DocuSign email from any source without having prior knowledge.
As always, the best practice to protect your personal computers and even work computers is to always delete emails from sources unfamiliar to you.
