Accel Financial Counseling Program: FREE Financial Counseling Services
Connects Federal Credit Union has a partnership with Accel, a financial counseling service that has assisted individuals for over 44 years. Receive free, personalized assistance for issues ranging from a proactive savings plan to saving a home from foreclosure. Other services:
- Personal and family budgeting
- Understanding your personal credit report and how to improve your score
- Personal money management
- Debt repayment
- Avoiding bankruptcy, foreclosure, and repossession
Counselors are available Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (EST), Friday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. To use this new service, simply call 1-877-33ACCEL (332-2235) or visit them on the web at

Budget Smart: FREE Money Management Software
BudgetSmart is a new and exciting software program that uses simple graphics, "pop-up" boxes and bar charts to help you manage your money more effectively. You can use the program to:
